Overview: This programme will take the participant through the process to ensure that the Environmental Management System of an organisation exposed to International and national greenhouse gas reporting and targets functions correctly. It will also look at ways to improve any areas of weakness and make final preparations for an on-site Third Party Final Audit to ensure the organisation is ready for certification if required.

KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES: There are Nine Key Learning Objectives to be achieved in this Course followed by a Final Course Assessment Task covering everything that has been covered within the Course. This ensures all assessment Tasks have been completed and assessed by the assigned Tutor. The Final Assessment Task also ensures that the student has completed to the organisations satisfaction all necessary tasks required within the context of Preparation for a Third Part Audit. Within each Key Learning Objective there are a number of Assessment Tasks to be completed by the student and then submitted for assessment by their assigned Tutor. Students prepare follow up actions from all previous audits or those of a known organisation as well as preparing and undertaking the Final Desk Top Audit and the Final Third Party (Certification) Audit. Further students concentrate on significant greenhouse gas reporting criteria such as programmes, inventories, labeling and associated targets as measured against key International and national guidelines.
