COURSE OVERVIEW: This course introduces participants to all aspects of Auditing, from scheduling to review. and is appropriate for Quality management systems, whether they're based on international, industry or best practice models. Candidates achieving satisfactory completion of the course (with a pass at the end of course examinations) will meet the RABQSA International Inc educational requirements that form part of the requirement for international recognition as a quality systems auditor.

RABQSA COURSE RECOGNITION: At the successful completion of the course a Certificate in Lead Auditing will be granted. Candidates will also receive a "Smart Card" with their specific "Competency Skill Set" for ease of identification with Clients.

Participants will need to successfully undertake a "Skill Examination" with RABQSA International Inc before applying for their preferred scope of Certification see below for details.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: This course is intended for people with a sound background in quality systems that wish to become actively involved in second party (supplier) or third party (certification body) audits. All candidates are expected to have an understanding of the content, application and implementation of management systems and ISO 9001 and will be required to sit an on line Recognition of Prior Learning before enrollment.

PRE-COURSE READING: Candidates will be required to undertake pre-course readings which will be provided prior to the course commencement. It is highly recommended that applicants have previous auditing experience or have attended an internal auditing course please see below for recognition of prior learning RPL.

COURSE CONTENT: This five-day programme includes a high level of participant involvement through discussions, role-playing and case studies based on actual situations. This approach is used to reinforce the basic concepts of the course and to provide the candidates practice in applying them. Following is a list of the topics covered:

COURSE MATERIALS: A full set of course notes is included in the course fee together with a set of relevant ISO 9001 standards and ISO 19011 guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing. The pre-course readings are available as a download once candidates have completed the required Recognition of Prior Learning Course online and have also for their course.

PRE-COURSE READING AND ASSIGNMENT: To be submitted prior to the commencement of the course (preferably no later than 5 days before).
