Introduction

On behalf of the Post-Tensioning Institute of Australia and ACI Global, welcome to the worlds first competency based online post-tensiong Course for either International or Australian candidates.

These courses and programmes have been specifically designed and implemented to comply with the following International ISO standards for LSP's:

  • ISO 29990:2010 Learning Services for non-formal education and training - Basic requirements for service providers: and
  • ISO/IEC 17024:2012 Conformity Assessment - General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.

The objective is to assist Business Professionals gain an internationally recognised ISO certification by providing "Peer Review" within a flexible and secure learning, assessment and examination platform that supplements existing knowledge with a curriculum of required "Knowledge, Ability, Attitude and Personal Behaviour". As an International Learning Service Provider ACI Global provides a commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to the learner (candidate) further ensuring the enhancement of professional knowledge and competency.

Learning Courses and Programs

This course specifies the outcomes required to carry out Mono-strand Post-tensioning in accordance with specifications and learning and assessment material developed by the Post-tensioning Institute of Australia and in accordance with the national unit of competency CPCCSF3002A. It includes planning and preparation for the work, laying and fixing anchorages and cables, defining the work area, stressing tendons, finishing the tensioning and completing clean-up activities.
Length of Programme: No set time limit
