ACI Global can help your organisation in satisfying dissatisfied customers

ACI Global can now offer a solution for organizations on those occasions when the customer is dissatisfied with a product or service, by implementing new guidelines for handling complaints in a manner that gives the very best results for both the organisation and the dissatisfied or disgruntled customer.

ISO 10002, Quality management - Customer Satisfaction - Guidelines for complaints handling in organisations now gives clear guidelines on how to handle Complaints from customers, for example when the delivery of a product or service by a supplier somehow does not meet their expectations. The complaints may relate to the product not meeting the customer's expectations or may have failed to meet their delivery deadlines. National laws and regulations may fail to provide satisfactory guidelines to adequately deal with the problem when, for example, the supplier and customer are located in different countries.

The new International Standard clearly outlines a complaints-handling process which is readily able to be integrated with the implementation of a quality management system based on ISO 9001:2000, which requires the top management of the organisation to focus on customer satisfaction and continual improvement.

ACI Global can provide training for your organisation in the ISO 10002 complaints-handling process so that once implemented, your customers will benefit from responsive treatment of his or her complaint, while the organisation will benefit from the focus on problem areas pointing to opportunities for improvements and savings.

For an obligation free assessment  contact us  now and and we will give you an overview of this new standard and how it can assist in continually improving your business.

Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme launched
Australians are expected to save more water by 2021 than is in Sydney Harbour as the result of a water efficiency labelling system launched this week. Nearly half of the forecast 610,000 megalitres will be saved from washing machines, about 25 per cent from showers and 22 percent from toilets. The water efficiency labeling and standards scheme is reportedly the first of its kind in the world. Savings of more than $600 million through reduced water and energy bills by 2021,could be achieved if these measures are adopted by Australians. The scheme is funded under Measures for a Better Environment , an Australian Government initiative developed in collaboration with the Australian Democrats.

Ladders give fish a leg up on the Murray (Environmental Triva certainly not read on)

Threatened native fish in the Murray-Darling Basin received a helping hand this week with the official opening of fish ladders designed to help them travel more than 2,000 km from the Southern Ocean to the Hume Dam. The "Sea to Hume Dam" project at Lock 8 on the Murray River has just been opened costing some $25 million for the ladders along the river as part of the $150 million Living Murray's Works and Measures Program. "The ladders are gently sloping passages that enable fish to migrate upstream past each weir at any time. It is reported that this program will assist with the breeding processes and contribute to greater fish numbers and better genetic diversity. More information on the Living Murray initiative is available at: www.thelivingmurray.mdbc.gov.au
