COURSE PREREQUISITIES: Heavy Vehicle and Business Experience preferrably with some understanding of Quality Auditing.

COURSE TUTOR: RABQSA approved and appointed at course registration.

COURSE RECOGNITION: Certificate of Competency RABQSA-QM, RABQSA-AU and RABQSA-TL.

The Heavy Vehicle Auditor course consists of four parts:

Part 1 - Online Skill Examination 1 Hr under controlled conditions. (General Knowledge)
Part 2 - Module 1
Part 3 - Module 2
Part 4 - Online Competency Based Examination 2 Hr under controlled conditions.

Dependent on outcomes of Parts 2 and 3 candidates may well need to complete QMS 8 and QMS 9 to achieve a satisfactory level of Audit experience before making application to RABQSA for Registration as a Heavy Vehicle Auditor.

AUDITOR REGISTRATION: At the successful completion of the course candidates are encouraged to seek Registration with RABQSA International Inc, before applying for their preferred scope of Auditor Registration. AUDIT - RABQSA-AU.

• Competency Unit: Understand the application of the principles, procedures and techniques of auditing
• Competency Unit: Understand the conduct of an effective audit in the context of the auditee’s organisational situation
• Competency Unit: Understand the application of the regulations, and other considerations that are relevant to the audit management system, and the conduct of the audit.
• Competency Unit: Practice personal attributes necessary for the effective and efficient conduct of a management system audit.

TEAM LEADER - RABQSA-TL.

• Competency Unit: Establish, plan and task the activities of an audit team.
• Competency Unit: Communicate effectively with the auditee and audit client.
• Competency Unit: Organise and Direct audit team members.
• Competency Unit: Prevent and resolve conflict with the auditee and/or within the audit team.
• Competency Unit: Prepare and complete the audit report.
