Course Overview

To provide participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop and implement an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) for an organisation in compliance with the International Standard BS 18001 and or ASNZS 4801.

The program involves OHS 1 - OHS 5 in the development of the occupational health and safety management system and OHS 6 - OHS 7 in the Implementation of what has been developed in the first five courses. OHS 8 and OHS 9 are used for Auditor Professional Development.
Length:   28 Weeks will vary depending on organisational time and resources

Prerequisites:  Nil

Tutor: RABQSA approved and appointed at course registration.

Price: $2, 900.00 AUD - GST may be applicable

Recognition: Certificate in Internal Audit at completion of OHS 6. Please note that a Provisional Certificate in Lead Auditing will be given after successful completion of the OHS 7 but completion of OHS 8 and OHS 9 may well need to be completed before full registration with RABQSA International Inc as a Certified Lead Auditor is recomended.

Learning Objectives

To provide participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop and implement an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) for an organisation in compliance with the International Standard BS 18001 and or ASNZS 4801.

At the completion of the course the student will have a through understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems in both development and implementation. Participants will receive a provisional certificate in Auditing at the completion of the program whilst the "Participating Organisation" will be ready for the Final Certification Audit to BS 18001 and or ASNZS 4801.
