Course Overview

To provide participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop and implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) for an organisation in compliance with the International Standard ISO 14001:2004.

The program involves EMS courses  1 - 5 in the development of the environmental system and EMS courses 6 - 7 in the Implementation of what has been developed in the first five courses. EMS 8 and 9 are optional and targeted to Auditors Professional Development.
Length:   28 weeks may vary depending on organisational time and resources

Prerequisites:  Nil

Tutor: RABQSA approved and appointed at course registration.

Price: $2,900.00 AUD - GST may be applicable

Recognition: Certificate in Internal Audit at completion of EMS 6. Please note that a Provisional Certificate in Lead Auditing will be given after successful completion of the EMS 7 but completion of EMS 8 and EMS 9 may well need to be completed before full registration with RABQSA International Inc as a Certified Lead Auditor is recomended.

Learning Objectives

To provide participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop and implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) for an organisation in compliance with the International Standard ISO 14001:2004.

At the completion of the course the student will have a through understanding of Environmental Management Systems in both development and implementation. Participants will receive a provisional certificate in Auditing at the completion of the program whilst the "Participating Organisation" will be ready for the Final Certification Audit to ISO 14001:2004
