Professional Experience - Ian is an experienced senior executive with over thirty years of executive management experience highlighted with outstanding successes in business development and creating over achievers within the workplace. Ian is an Associated Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management as well as a member of the International Internal Auditors Association, and able to draw upon a very extensive network to add to his experience. He is presently managing director of ACI Global a Global Quality Assurance service provider based in Sydney Australia, specialising in professional development through training of personnel to achieve high achiever status. He also provides specialist advice, analysis, planning and implementation of unique tools designed to significantly lift the growth and profitability of medium to large enterprises.

His work is based on the commitments and values developed during his years in senior management within the Energy, FMCG and Primary Industries. He has been a Director of the Quality Society of Australasia, Design Awards Judge, and a Chairman / Committee member for the Independent Business Foundation, the AIEF and SEAANZ for many years. Professional Experience. - Ivan has spent approximately forty years within the aviation industry that has given him an extremely broad knowledge base with both civilian and military operations. He has held positions as Quality Manager for a number of internationally recognised aviation organisations as well as being an Air Safety Auditor with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in Australia. Having completed a series of Quality Management Training Programmes and with significant audit experience with major international airlines, has led him to gain recognition as a Certified Lead Auditor (Aerospace).

Ian and his teams main aims are:

  • Illustrate clearly throughout the organisation the concepts of quality training, paying special care to the understanding and adoption of the eight quality management principals described in ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 19011 the Auditing Standard;
  • Involve actively all relevant personnel in the implementation of the business systems ensuring all employees are training effectively and are able to adopt Accelerating Continuous Improvement Techniques (ACI);
  • Identify and enhance the organisation's strong points and key processes, limiting formal aspects to the minium required to ensure that the organisation's objectives for its business management system are met;
  • Assist the organisation in achieving a "documented business management system" - and not a "system based only on documents" - where the documents should be developed in order to add value to the whole process;
  • Guide and lead the organisation in identifying and implementing the appropriate processes needed for its specific business management system (considering cultural characteristics and business environment);
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the business management processes and stimulate the organisation to look for opportunities to improve them;
  • Promote continual improvement within the organisation through the adoption of self assessment, management review, systematic use of the Plan- Do-Check-Act cycle and other suitable methods;
